Rotaract PACE comes to Whistler

Rotaractor PACE visit 2013Whistler Rotary Clubs hosted 9 International visitors from the Pacific Canadian Experience (PACE) program of Rotaract. These young professionals from all over the world were in Whistler on August 29 and 30th as guests of the Rotary Club of Whistler and Millennium Club. The highlights of their visit included an organic Pemberton beef BBQ on Thursday night plus a Whistler Blackcomb Peak to Peak/hiking adventure on the mountains Friday. Homestays were provided by both Clubs.  Thanks to all who provided rooms and special thanks to Whistler/Blackcomb who generously donated discounted lift tickets.
 

On Thursday August 29 we were invaded by nine Rotoracts from Lebanon, USA, New Zealand and Canada, for an overnight visit to Whistler. Home hosted, they had a great time on their way here at Shannon Falls then shopping in Whistler village, and at a party at the Maskells.

The next day they ventured up on Whistler to experience the Peak-to-Peak experience, in the inclement weather, then returned to Vancouver in the afternoon.
