The Gibbons group of restaurants and bars will be donating $1 to the Polio Fund for every one of its local beers sold this evening.

Join our members and friends at Gibbons to enjoy a cool ale or 2.

Please join us for the annual Remembrance Day Service in Olympic Plaza and sfterwards help us serve Hot  chocolate, coffee and cookies to locals and visitors attending the service.

Thanks to Tim Hortons, Fresh St Market (they bake 300 cookies for us) and Blenz Coffe shop for their donations of all supplies.

Join us for a fantastic day on the slopes or simply come for the lively après-ski gathering! We're excited to host our Rotary Club of Whistler Ski Social on Tuesday, March 24th, and we hope you can join us for some fun, camaraderie, and great views.

We'll kick off the day meeting up at the downstairs of Pika's on Whistler Mountain at 10 am for coffee, giving everyone a chance to catch up and plan the day ahead. Afterwards, enjoy skiing in small groups until around 2 or 3 pm, taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. As the day winds down, we'll gather at Earl's meeting room at 4 pm for happy hour drinks and appetizers. Please note that space is limited, and the first 18 people to email David Stephen at dtstephen9664@gmail.com will be confirmed for the après.

For your convenience, separate bills are available at Earl's, and please be aware that there is a 15% gratuity minimum for groups. We look forward to seeing many of you there for a day of skiing and socializing. RCOW is participating in the creation and production of a community Fashion Show, in conjunction with WEE,  honouring the memory of Isobel MacLaurin. Isobel and her husband were long standing members of the Rotary Club of Whistler.

Anshu Chandra has 16 years of experience providing eye care in Haiti. She leads a permanent clinic in Fond-des-Blancs, supports mobile clinics, and helps train local eye care professionals, including the Haitian ophthalmology residency program in Port-au-Prince. She holds a Doctor of Optometry degree and completed her residency at SUNY College of Optometry. She has provided care in Nepal, Haiti, Peru, Lebanon, Tanzania, Honduras, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Indonesia, and India.
