Board and committee positions available for the coming year, starting July 1, 2017 were emailed two weeks ago. Thanks for those who have volunteered to fill some of the positions. Still a couple left including the coveted President Elect position. We hope to have every member signed up for either a board, committee or project position. The meeting will feature guest speaker Robert J. Ballantyne. Robert is a management consultant and coach whose primary focus is working with non-profit (or social profit) boards to provide the tools for the board to be able to govern with very high integrity, transparency, and without the usual political intrigue — and provide true leadership.
His topic is What it is like to publish an e-book? It will be of interest to anyone who’d like to write a book, or knows such a person. While I will refer to my experience e-publishing, the talk is not about the contents of the book.
