This Week's meeting - Rotary is taking a vacation!That's right Rotary is on vacation! With all of our other summer activities we made a decision to not hold meetings on the last week of July and August. Consequently there will be no morning or evening meeting on July 31st. See you on August 7th for our next regular meeting. We will confirm the location of our August 7th meeting later this week. Pacific Canada Experience with Rotaract (PACE) - Aug 29Wednesday Aug 29 is the annual arrival of the PACE group which is a group of 6 Rotaractors from all over the world making a BC road trip. The trip is a BC round trip that fosters global Rotaract ties and provides an authentic experience of Canada’s multiculturalism while facilitating international friendships. Most likely the group will spend Aug 29 in Whistler. Plans are not yet in place but expect a request for billets and a BBQ. One of the highlights of the BBQ is a presentation by each student and this is a great opportunity to "Be Inspired". Mark your calendars for this one. Many more details to come. Rotary Club of Whistler Millennium - Brandywine Boogie - Sep 22On Sep 22 our friends at the Millennium Club will hold the annual Brandywine Boogie. This is an annual trail run from Steve Bayly park to the Cal-Cheak Campground. Opportunities are available for competing or volunteering for the event. More information to come. |
