Welcome aboard to the 2019-2020 Rotary year. I am deeply honoured to work with our members, partners and volunteers. How lovely to have this family around all of us to assist in moving forward in achieving our humanitarian goals in the coming year. Everything we do, no matter how small makes a difference, in our community, our province, our country and our earth. They are ours to help and protect. It is so easy to give a little.

I relish the coming year albeit is will be busy and fraught with challenges. Please work with us to make it uncommonly greater than ever. Our efforts are so important.

With appreciation and commitment to all we cherish.

Now on to the fun stuff with 2 very interesting speakers coming up and one great fundraiser. Consider attending the July 9th AM (7AM at WCSS) meeting with Mary-Anne Provost from the Ironman organization and July 23rd (5:15 PM at Dusty's Backside) with Laurie Cooper, an advocate for refugees who live in Whistler and beyond. If you recall Laurie as in the press for rescuing the Syrian refugee stranded in the Kuala Lumpur Airport a few month ago). Support us by volunteering in the Ironman Athlete Registration Tent July 25th to 27th.

June 11 - Back to our early morning 7:15 AM format at WCSS building for Tuesday - We will be reviewing our latest financials, looking at next year's budget, and discussing our dues for the coming year. - keep to $230 or change?   Also, I believe this will be Bridget Daley's last meeting as a Whistler Rotarian.  She has relocated to Quebec and has transferred to a Rotary Club there. Come out and give her a great send off.
