President Ken's first official duty as new President was to lead Rotary in the annual Canada Day parade. Each year the Rotary Club of Whistler participates in the parade.
For this year we joined forces with both the Whistler Interact Club and Millennium Club to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday.
The parade route was a little longer and Rotary was honored by being placed near the front. In addition we were thankful that our entry did not require us to drag a fire engine through the village. The crowd seemed much larger than usual. Many thought the event was the best ever.
