Shown with wife Isabel Poirier,  heli-skiing as Doctor/guide at Mike Wiegele Heli Skiing is Dr. Sean Staniforth who spoke to our online meeting on April 28th. Dr. Sean has quite an intriguing string of accomplishments and commitments: 

   -Volunteer doctor on Whistler Ski Patrol

   -Volunteer doctor for North Shore Rescue

   -Volunteered to set up and teach doctors in Katmandu after the earthquake.

    -Volunteered with Broken Earth in Haiti after the earthquake.

Dr. Sean is head of Emergency Medicine at Lions Gate Hospital,  Director of Trauma at LGH and Clinical Instructor Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. In addition, he conferences regularly with the Provincial Health Officer Bonnie Henry, Fraser Health, and Coastal Health to share information and collaborate on how we can best steer through the COVID19 Pandemic. He assists in every way possible to keep as many workers and patients safe, and the spread under control. The online audience was riveted for the entire duration of his presentation and came forward with many comments of appreciation as well as questions.
