Garibaldi Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) Society.
Outlined below is a brief outline of the GVFD.  When we present, we will of course provide more details.

Personally I have been with the Department for 9 years as a Firefighter and am now a Captain/Training Officer on the department.  I have been President of the Charitable Society for the past 3 years.  As with all members, I recognize the work the GVFD does and look forward to exploring any way we can partner with your organization and the wider community.

The Garibaldi Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) was established in 1976 to provide fire rescue services (and more recently medical response services) along a section of the Sea to Sky Highway in between Squamish and Whistler. Join us for a presentation by members of the GVFD to learn about who they are, what they do, and some of their experiences this past summer.
