Gloria’s Bio for Introduction

 

Gloria Staudt is a Business & Life Strategist, providing consulting, mentoring, training and coaching solutions for leadership development to improve communications, relationships, teamwork, performance and productivity through proprietary processes. 

She has worked with clients in person ( pre pandemic ) and via phone conversations both locally and internationally.  She is author of the book, Live Your Vacation: The Ultimate Guide to Live Your Dream Life... Every Day! and contributing author of Conscious Entrepreneurs and Love Like God: Embracing Unconditional Love.

 

 

Gloria’s rotary contribution include 12 years of leadership roles at the board level, 17 years at the committee level and 12 years at the district level. She was a 3 term Past President, District 5040's 2014-2015 Rotarian of The Year and Marketing Director of the 2016 District Conference  She is an active member of the Royal City Rotary club and is District 5040, Chair of Rotary Peace Fellowship since 2008 selecting 10 out of the 11 successful recipients of Rotary Peace Scholars in our district, is a member of the District Peace Committee and mentored the rebuilding of the New West Rotaract club. Through her leadership in establishing a well functioning Rotary Peace Centers Committee, the Rotary Foundation had acknowledged this and invited our district 5040 to be a Rotary Peace Centers At-Large District to accept applicants from countries where there are no Rotary clubs or districts that have not established a well functioning Rotary Peace Centers committee like ours.  In 2019, she was awarded Citation of Meritorious Service award by The Rotary Foundation Trustees for Outstanding Service Doing Good in the World 

 

Gloria was born in Trinidad, educated, married and worked in New York City before relocating to Canada to be closer to family members.  Three years after the birth of their daughter Alison, Gloria and Richard became Canadian citizens and together with her mom and cousin they live in Burnaby.
