DESCRIPTION:This year Athlete Check in occurs over three days. (Jul 27\,28 
 and 29). Check in is where athletes pick up all the necessary paperwork an
 d race articles necessary to compete.  It is a great opportunity to meet 
 the people who will be competing in the event.  Those who have worked the
  event in previous years will note that\, in general\, these athletes are 
 a pretty friendly bunch and Athlete Check in is a good experience.   Suba
 ru Ironman Canada is a big event.  Consequently you must register using t
 heir web site.  Sorry!   To register you must go to the Subaru Ironman C
 anada Volunteer Registration Site. Scroll down and select the shifts you a
