Whistler Rotary clubs welcome our Rotaractor visitors on the 2015 Pacific Canada Experience (PACE) trip. This year, 6 Rotaractors, from countries around the world, are joining us on the round trip designed to fostor international friendships and showcase Canada's multicultural environment. The trip, scheduled for Aug 20th to 26th is similar to other roundtrips that are organized by Rotoract throughout the world.  PACE offers Rotaractors the opportunity to experience a country’s geography and culture through complete immersion including home-stays with local Rotaractors and Rotarians.

The group will travel to Whistler on Aug 26, after hiking the Stawamus Chief in Squamish. They will then attend a barbecue hosted by Whistler Rotarians.  On Aug 27th will feature a trip to the Peak to Peak gondola and perhaps an alpine hike.

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide, young men and women 18-30 years of age,  an opportunity to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

Rotaractors, welcome to Whistler!  We hope you have a great time and learn lots while you are here.

Thanks to Whistler Blackcomb for your support.   Also thanks to those Rotarians who supported the PACE trip by hosting Rotoractors or helping with the barbecue.
