On Aug 30 the Whistler Rotary clubs again welcomed our Rotaractor visitors on the Pacific Canada Experience (PACE) trip.  This year, 6 Rotaractors from Brazil, India, Germany, Malaysia, India, and United Kingdom joined us as part of their BC round trip designed to foster international friendships and showcase Canada's multicultural environment.

After meeting our guests the hosts made a short trip to introduce them to their accommodation. Then everyone met at DG Lyn's residence for a barbecue supper.  Supper was served after everyone enjoyed Green Lake.  Depending on who you were the type enjoyment took many different forms.  After supper an outdoor screen was set up and our guests presented slide shows about their the projects their home Rotaract Club took on.

After the slide show our Guests traveled to Whistler village and the hosts retired for the evening.

The purpose of Rotaract is to provide, young men and women 18-30 years of age,  an opportunity to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.

Rotaractors, welcome to Whistler!  We hope you have a great time and learn lots while you are here.

Thanks to Whistler Blackcomb for your support.   Also thanks to those Rotarians who supported the PACE trip by hosting Rotoractors or helping with the barbecue.
