Last Week's Happenings
Our 3rd Tuesday evening meeting was a great success. The event at The Venue featured Gordon Blair Kaplan speaking about the use of #Hastags in social media. The Venue put on a great spread again for the 30+ who were in attendance.
This Weeks Meeting
This Tuesday we will again be back to our regular morning meetings at the BG Urban Grill. Wendell Moore will describe the wilderness adventure he encountered this past March in the backcountry behind Pemberton with Backcountry Snowcats Inc in their 12,000 plus hectare domain off the Hurley Pass
Upcoming Meetings
Also mark on you calendar the scheduled Tuesday evening meetings.
- June 27 - This meeting will also be the Installation ceremony conducted by Ross Harlow for our incoming Board and President. If the weather is good this will also be an outside deck event with a Pasta Bar (tentative)
- August 1st - Our incoming District Governor, Don Evans and his wife Deb will be attending and presenting. This will be an outdoor deck barbecue night at The Venue
Service Project Volunteers Required
We have a number of events requiring volunteers now on our calendar. Please let us know if you can participate in any of these. Please RSVP on the event website linked below.
- Canada Day Parade - July 1 9:00 AM - noon Volunteer here or contact Mary Scott. The Millennium Club of Whistler will be joining us for a combined effort
- Iron Man - July 27 - 29 This year Athlete Check in occurs over three days. (Jul 27,28 and 29). Check in is where athletes pick up all the necessary paperwork and race articles necessary to compete. It is a great opportunity to meet the people who will be competing in the event. Please click here for shift sign up information.
- Creekside Barbecue Championship Pancake Breakfast.- Aug 5th. Once again Rotary cooks pancakes for the Canadian BBQ Championships competitors.

June 5 - Millenium Club of Whistler Annual Interact Fundraiser. Dinner and Movie Night. 5:30 to 8:00 at the Youth Centre. Bring lots of money for silent auction items.
