2017 Demonstration Forest Signage Project

In memory of our late member Don Maclauren who spent a great deal of his life creating and expanding the Demonstration Forest off Cheakamus Lake Road, the Club, with help from the Community Foundation of Whistler Whistler Blackcomb and many volunteers spent considerable time cleaning existing signs and creating and installing new ones for the Forest. On November 6th 2017 a brief ceremony was held at the entrance to the Forest to unveil one of the signs and to acknowledge the participants
